Singapore - Marina Bay Sands

For our final night in Singapore we moved to the Marina Bay Sands Hotel.  We had some credit card points built up so we got a free night.  It was a really spectacular place.  It was built by the Las Vegas Sands company, and boy did it show.  It was big, it was decadent, it had "wow" features, the service was great...we had a splendid time.

Here was our room with a view of downtown Singapore.  The curtains were electrically driven, so the kids had a blast pretending to have shows with dramatic curtain openings and closings.  The bathroom was humongous, nearly the size of our previous hotel room!

The signature element of the Marina Bay Sands is the rooftop infinity pool.  It is over 600 feet high and is spectacular.

The hot tubs also have a nice view.

Here's the infinity pool at night.  It's something like 150 yards long.  It is also lined with palm trees and tropical plants.
