Cruising from Panama to Florida

We took a repositioning cruise on Royal Caribbean's Vision of the Seas to get from Panama back to the US.  This was the first cruise experience for Alex and the girls.  We had nice adjoining rooms with windows that were surprisingly spacious.  The ship was at less than half of its 2500 passenger capacity, so our experience was extra enjoyable.  No lines, no waiting, no reservations, no crowding.

Our first stop when we got on board was the pool.  Shortly after we arrived it was raining so we quickly had it to ourselves.
We were surprised to find that it was a salt water pool.  It made floating very easy.
Looking into the Colon harbor, we saw the Stuttgart Express container ship that we had seen in the Panama Canal when returning from Jungleland.
We introduced the girls to the game Othello.  Ashley really liked to defeat Dad.
On the top deck in the back of the ship was a sizable climbing wall.  Sarah and Lauren were both big enough to climb and were the first ones on the wall.

Another favorite in the game lounge was Apples to Apples.  This time Dad was victorious.

The weather continued to improve as we crossed the Caribbean.  There was a pleasant sunset our last night on ship.
