Minnesota Family Fun

We made a trip to Minnesota while in the Midwest to briefly catch up with the family and see Grandma Johnson.  We had a wonderful family dinner.  Many thanks to Jo for hosting in her beautiful home and Janeen for coordinating the family and feeding us truly splendid food.  I was flattered that so many made the effort to see us during their busy holidays.  Thank you all for a special evening.

My Grandma Johnson currently has 36 great-grandchildren, 21 of which are under 10 years of age.

Here are 9 of the 21

After a splendid evening with family, we decided to risk some tired children and visit the world's most visited attraction, the Mall of America.  We gawked at the awesome decorations, visited the Peep store, and rode a few of the rides at the amusement park courtesy of a kind stranger with extra tickets.

Our other activity was the hotel pool.  Turns out we have three little fish that can hardly get enough.  Sarah was most enthusiastic as she received a snorkel and mask for Christmas and this was her first opportunity to try it out.  She got it right away and was soon making rings around the pool.
